I think the ice-cream version is just a little better than the real thing. I’m just creating ice-creams that use up my collection of half empty bottles of spirits, I’m lucky someone drunk the Midori or that’s be next!!

I’m so happy you did shaved ice, Jacqui, as that was the only item in the list not to have been covered yet. We already had sorbet, granita, slushy and spoom! I love the sound of green tea syrup and condensed milk as toppings for the shaved ice! Mmmm!

I used to love rum and raisin ice cream when I was a child. I think it was mainly because I thought it had rum in which seemed very exciting. I also remember a restaurant in Spain that used to serve whisky ice cream cake and I loved having that too. Again, I’m not sure if it was really the flavour that I loved as much as the feeling that I was being really grown up!

Always used to think I was being clever by chosing the ice-cream with fruit in it. It’s not an ice-cream I eat very often now as the commercial stuff is never the same, think I’ll be making it loads now as it’s so easy to achieve a great result.
